This silk scarf featuring a vibrant floral pattern will revitalize your autumn jackets and won’t allow you to forget about summer.
Materials: Crêpe de Chine 12; dye for silk, Setasilk iron-fix paint for silk, bristle brushes. Lightly dye the silk in a dye bath. Iron and suspend the silk on a frame or between sawhorses. Using a thin brush, first sketch out a floral pattern.
Paint with a flat brush at first.
Use several shades of red, orange or pink.
Now paint the darker shades with a rounded brush.
To finish, draw black lines using a thin bristle brush.
After the dye has dried, iron on the reverse side according to the package instructions. This fixes the dye. Wash in cool water with soap or shampoo.
