Christmas trimmings - angels

1 Materials: Beech plywood (3 mm width); tempera paint; round and flat bristle brushes; gold paint; clear varnish; golden ribbon

2 Using a fretsaw or scroll saw, cut the shape of an angel out from the plywood. Paint on a basecoat (above, diluted with orange tempera paint). Paint contours with a bristle brush. Allow to dry, fix with varnish and decorate with a ribbon for hanging the ornament.

3 Various sized angel or star shapes can be connected to form a chain. In this case, holes must be drilled into the tops and bottoms of the ornaments. The decoration can be hung in the window.

4 Small ornaments can be tied onto Christmas cards. Simply use a piece of folded paper (see picture).
